FO: Laptop Sleeve

A quick little thing I did for my work computer. I normally never take my laptop home with me, but when I was sent to work from home in March I noticed that I did not have anything to transport it. I brought it home, very carefully, in a too-small zippered bag that I found.  So obviously I had to solve the problem — specifically, with some super bulky yarn.

MMM look at this beauty!
I'm quite please with how I turned out, but I do feel a bit dumb as to how I did it. I initially did a basketweave stitch of 6 knits and 4 purls, and by the time the pattern became visible I realized I didn't like it. However, I decided to just keep going because I didn't feel like ripping and starting over. Then I turned it inside out for the three-needle bind off — and promptly realized that oh wait yes actually THAT is actually was what it is supposed to look like. So I guess I did a 4K6P basketweave stitch, but on the wrong side.

The wrong side that I was 100% resigned to live with.

Since I'm going into the office once a week now, I've been using it regularly. I guess I finished it just in time.
